Binghamton Mets Playoff Tickets Go On Sale Today

The Binghamton Mets lost on the road against Bowie 8-2. Read about it here. Even with the loss, things are looking great for the Mets and their run to the playoffs. In fact, playoff tickets go on sale today.

The Mets are in 2nd place in the Eastern Division and it looks great for them to make the postseason in consecutive seasons for the first time in it's history.  The top 2 teams in the division make the playoffs.

They currently have an 11 and half game lead over New Britain. The could still win the division, they are only 4 games behind the Portland Sea Puppies. Playoff tickets go on sale this morning at 9am.

If they remain in 2nd place, the scenario looks like this. It's a 5 game first round playoff. They would play at NYSEG Stadium on Wednesday and Thursday, September 3rd and 4th. They would go on the road for the next three, Friday-Sunday September 5th-7th.
