The Binghamton Mets after a half hour delay, played their first game in 3 days.  They scored 5 unanswered runs and win against the Trenton Thunder 7-3. The Mets improve to a Eastern League best 48-28 and improve its June mark to 17-4. They'll continue the series against the Double A Yankee affiliate tonight.

There is a lot going on this evening.  Tonight is a 2 for 1 baseball special with first pitch at 5:05.  That's different then what was on the original schedule. Tonight's extra game is a make up from earlier in Trenton this year. Thursday nights rained out game will be made up as a double header in late July when the Thunder return to NYSEG Stadium.

Tonight is also the Largest Graduation Party night.  All local High School seniors stop by the NYSEG Stadium box office and get a free ticket. It's another fireworks night so stick around after the game. Once again first pitch is at 5:05.

Sunday on the field,  2011 American League All-Star pitcher Michael Pineda will be making a rehab start for the Thunder.  Michael is hoping to be at Yankee Stadium before the year is through.  On Sunday, the Mets will counter with highly-touted pitching prospect and Eastern League All-Star Noah Syndergaard

Off the field is another Kids Eat Free on Family Fun Day with 98.1 the Hawk. Children who are 14 & under with paid admission at Sunday's game eat for FREE. For each child's ticket, the youngster will receive vouchers good for a FREE hot dog, small Coke, bag of chips, small popcorn and a healthy snack.

It's also Pirates and Princess Night. All fans (young and old) dress up as a pirate or princess and celebrate the magic of the fantasy world at the ballpark. First pitch on Sunday is 1:05.
