The Binghamton Mets and the Trenton Thunder (Double A Yankees) split a double header last night.  In the opener, Trenton scored 3 runs in the first and never look back and win 4-1.  In the night cap, Richard Lucas hits a grand slam in the 5th and Jeff Walters got his 29th save of the season, setting a single season franchise record for the most in the year.  Binghamton wins 4-1. The Mets continue their weekend series with the Thunder this weekend.  Tonight it's a tribute to Broadway and Mirabito Baseball Bingo.  Play the game within the game with Baseball Bingo.  You get a card and instead of B2 it might say "Home run." If the Mets hit a home run, you mark the card.  The 1st 1,000 fans through the gates get a Bingo card so get there early.  1st pitch tonight is at 7:05.

Tomorrow the Thunder wrap up their last series at NYSEG Stadium.  It's a "Kids Eat Free on Family Fun Night" courtesy of 98.1 the Hawk.  All kids 14 and under with paid admission get a FREE hot dog, soda and a couple of snacks.  The New York Met mascot "Mr Met" will also be making an appearance. Then end the night with a firework show at the ballpark.  Sunday's first pitch is 6:35.

It's the last time this season the Double A Yankees are in town so come and see the future stars of Flushing and the Bronx have at it this weekend.
