After a heartbreaking loss on Wednesday, the Binghamton Mets came up short again on Thursday. They lose 2-1 to Trenton as the Thunder take a 2-0 lead in the playoffs. To read all about last nights game, go here.  That's the bad news.

Here's the good news!  They return home for 3 games against the Double A Yankees at NYSEG Stadium tonight. It's the first time in 9 years that the Mets have played at home in the playoffs. Tonight is Fireworks night and it begins with a post season party from 5:30 to 6:30. First pitch is at 7:05.

Congratulations once again to Allan Dykstra. He's the Eastern League Most Valuable Player and to Pedro Lopez as the Manager of the Year.
