Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium This Memorial Weekend

The Binghamton Mets fell behind 5-0 after 2 innings against the Portland Seadogs.  They rally to tie it in the 8th but gave up 2 in the top of the 9th and lose to the Sea Puppies 10-9.They'll try it again tonight with Social Media Saturday at NYSEG stadium. If you follow the B-Mets on FB, you'll get more info on that.  Tonight's first pitch is at 7:05.

As always on Saturday home games it's Mirabito Baseball Bingo.  It's a chance to play a game within the game.  You get a Bingo card but instead of B2, it might say Binghamton Home Run.  When the Mets get a home run, you would mark that square. Fill your card and get Bingo to win.  It's a lot of fun to play along while the game is playing on.  Tonight is also School Book Club Night.

Looking ahead to Sunday night, it's another Kids Eat Free with 98.1 the Hawk.  All kids 14 and younger with paid admission, get a hot dog, drink and a couple of snacks.  That's right, take your kids to the Ballpark and lunch is on us.  Sunday night is also Hawk Fireworks night.  When we do Fireworks, we like to give you double the "bang" for your buck.  Sunday night it's a Double Grand Finale.  First pitch on Sunday is 6:35.

Looking ahead to Monday, it's a Memorial Day Picnic with an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet. Game time is 1:05.

Finally (for now) save the date for this Tuesday. Former heavyweight champion, MMA fighter and USA gold medalist Ray Mercer along with world renowned author and screenwriter Dustin Warburton come to NYSEG stadium for "fight against bullying!'  Both will be on hand for autographs, meet and greet, with commemorative posters to the first 500 fans in attendance.  Gates open Tuesday at 5:30 for this event.
