Binghamton Mets Advance To The Eastern League Championship Series

It's the return of "Good News Monday."  Here's some really good news if you're a B-Met fan. The Binghamton Mets score 6 runs in the 4th inning and defeat Portland 8-5. They advance to the Eastern League Championship Series for the first time in 20 years. Read all about the good news here.

The Mets advance to the ELCS for the first time since 1994. The good news for the Mets is that they are undefeated in the ELCS, winning both in 1992 and 1994.

They begin the 5 game series on the road at Richmond. They play games 1 and 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday. You can hear all the games on Newsradio 1290. They return to NYSEG Stadium for games 3-5 Friday through Sunday.

Friday is a Toyota Fireworks night.  Arrive early for special drink specials as part of Happy Hour at the Hive. First pitch is at 7:05, stay after the game for fireworks with the B-Mets.

Saturday's game, if necessary, starts at 6:35. If necessary,the final game of the season would be on Sunday with first pitch at 6:05.
