Binghamton Met Celebrity Waiters For Wendy’s Walk For Kids
So you didn’t have a chance to help out Wendy’s Walk for Kids on Sunday (8/17) at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open. Here’s your chance to help and have dinner with the Binghamton Mets.
It’s this Sunday at Little Venice and the best part is you can be waited on by a Binghamton Mets. You can go here and place a bid to dine with your favorite B-Met player. It starts at 6pm.
It’s the 10th consecutive year for this great cause. The B-Met players will trade in their uniforms for aprons serving you. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Wendy’s Walk for Kids.
You have until noon on Friday (8/22) to bid on your favorite B-Met.
The 2014 Wendy’s Walk for Kids recipients are: The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, JCC of Binghamton, ACHIEVE and The Food Bank of the Southern Tier. This year’s fundraising goal is $250,000.
You can help out a real good cause with some fantastic food. It’s also fun watching the kids follow the players around to get autographs. See ya there on Sunday.
