A Binghamton man is charged with drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident following two crashes this week.

New York State Police say 47 year old Thomas Jones is accused being in an accident on Dencary Lane at 9:42 p.m. September 22, leaving that scene and hitting a vehicle on Hooper Road, also in Endwell with his pickup truck, leaving that scene as well.

He was found getting on Route 17 east in Johnson City and arrested by Binghamton Police at his home in the City.

After being turned over to New York State Police, investigators determined Jones had been driving while intoxicated.  He refused to submit to a blood alcohol content test.

Jones is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, following too closely and leaving the scene of an accident.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail on $2,000 bail.
