Darius Rucker has 1,925,683 "likes" on his Facebook page.  That's a lot of likes!  No wonder everyone was rooting for his success, when he explored "other musical influences" after the success of the Grammy-Award winning rock band Hootie and the Blowfish.

Darius Rucker is an American original.  Darius produced 6 Top-40 hits with Hootie, co-writing most of the bands songs and in 2009, became the second ever African American to win a prestigious Country Music Association Award (CMA).  Darius has always been a determined winner at his craft.

Polling HAWK listeners around Binghamton, here are the top Darius Rucker country favorites:

1)  'Don't Think I Don't Think About It' - this was his first solo hit sure is a tongue twister to say.

2)  'It Won't Be Like This For Long' - Darius really sells this one.  One of my favorites too.

3)  'Come Back Song' -  this hit from his second solo album was so melodic; always a fan favorite.

4)  'Wagon Wheel' - Darius made this Old Crow Medicine Show's cover his own and although it didn't win a CMA, Darius did walk away with a Grammy.

5)  'Radio' - everyone connects with this song.  Everyone loves the radio and they love Darius Rucker.
