Binghamton Loves Comedy

Binghamton loves comedy.  Thursday night at 7, Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood bring their 'Two Man Group' interactive show to the Forum Theater in Binghamton.  Known from the popular TV series 'Whose Line Is It Anyway,' comedy lovers and even aspiring local comedians can learn a thing or two from these two Thursday night in Binghamton. After Colin and Brad hit Binghamton, it may inspire you to try your own hand at comedy with a really cool competition making its rounds in the Southern Tier.  Make Me Laugh: Binghamton is looking for the funniest amateur comedian in the Triple Cities, including the student population of University at Binghamton. University Students will perform five minutes in the audition round of Make Me Laugh: Binghamton this week.

The auditions will be judged by established comedians and local entertainment writers. Those shine through performers will be asked to participate in either the Semi Finals at The Bundy Museum Annex on November 7th, or the Finals at The Relief Pitcher on November 13th. Those contestants who make it to the Semi Finals may still qualify for the Finals. The top six performers in each audition will advance, three to the semi's and three to the finals, and the top three performers at the Semi's will be advanced to the finals.

The auditions for Make Me Laugh: Binghamton will be a closed event, only for University at Binghamton students and take place at the Fine Arts Building on Friday November 6th from 7pm to 9pm.

The Semi Finals are open to everyone and take place November 7th 2015 at 8:00pm at The Bundy Museum, 129 Main Street in Binghamton. The Finals are open to the public and take place November 13th 2015 at 8pm at The Relief Pitcher, 197 Conklin Ave, Binghamton NY.
