Seven outstanding kids from Binghamton are about to have a pretty big day as they gear up to be honored as 'Students of the Year.'

Tomorrow, May 3rd, the Binghamton Rotary Club will recognize one 5th grade student from each of the seven Binghamton Elementary schools who showcase outstanding leadership, talent and contribution to their school and community. The five students selected to be Binghamton's 'Students of the Year' are:

Jaylen Whatley of Horace Mann
Zoe Duggins of Ben Franklin
Justin Coley of Thomas Jefferson
Rebecca Todd of Theodore Roosevelt
Dontae Creveling of Calvin Coolidge
Carmella DiRenzo of MacArthur
Braedon Cushner of Woodrow Wilson

On behalf of all of us at Townsquare Media, we'd like to let each of these kids know how massively proud we are of them and the positive impact they're having on the world around them through their positive attitudes, willingness to help others and academic achievements despite setbacks.

We are proud to have you as members of our community and are very excited to see how you end up making our world a better place. Keep up the excellent work!

And, to the parents of these five outstanding individuals, thank you for all of the love and hard work you've put into nurturing your children and helping them blossom into the wonderful humans they are!
