Your first place Binghamton Senators are in action this weekend at the Broome Country Veterans Memorial Arena. Tonight it's Albany and Saturday against Rochester. A fan favorite B-Sen will be inducted into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame tomorrow (1/25).

Tonight is the first of two nights that the Broome Sports Foundation will be auctioning off sports memorabilia. They'll have many tables set up along the front concourse.

Saturday is Hall of Fame night. A very popular B-Sen will be inducted into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame. In fact, he's my daughter Riley's favorite player, her favorite number is 17 because of him.  It's Denis Hamel. He'll be inducted in a pregame ceremony.

He played parts of 6 seasons with the Sens and leads the franchise in games played with 438. He also leads in goals scored (203), assists (189) and points (392).  You'll want to be there early for the ceremony and the first 3,000 fans will get a FREE Commemorative Photo of Denis.

You can get it signed during the autograph session on the concourse during the first intermission.  Saturday will be the final night of auctions from the Broome Sports Foundation.

Face-off both nights scheduled for 7:05. To see what else is happening with the B-Sens this weekend, go here.  LET'S GO SENS.
