I love this time of this time of the year with Spring and Easter days away.  The Southern Tier has an abundance of activities planned in the Southern Tier.  Traci Taylor has a great list of family friendly events to welcome in the (hopefully) warmer weather that we have all been waiting for.  If you are in the City limits of Binghamton, there's one Spring event that is perfect for the little ones.

Binghamton Council member Lea Webb, along with the Neighbors Against Crime and the COB Parks & Recreation Department is heading up the 19th Annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 12th, from 1-2pm at Columbus Park's Little League Field.

The event is open to children 12 years and younger, with bags being provided for the big hunt.  Registration begins at 12:30pm and the event will be held rain or shine.  There will be free refreshments, door prizes and a K-9 demonstration by the Binghamton Police Department.

Don't forget your camera or phone.  A fun, free family afternoon in the park to welcome in Easter.  Don't miss the fun.
