Mother's Day weekend includes a special benefit for Shawn Boyle, a 30 year old, battling metastatic stage IV Adeno Carcinoma.  The cancer has spread to Shawn's esophagus, stomach, liver, spine, lungs and other places in his body and is getting aggressive treatment to win the battle. With two young children, he is unable to work.

Shawn lives his life with love, honor, humor, hope, and a strong determination to fight his illness surrounded by a family and community who choose not to give up.
Thank God for life long friends.  Shawn's friends got together to work on a great benefit to help cover the costs of treatments that are not covered by his medical insurance, and travel for those treatments. The benefit is being held on Saturday, May 11th at the American Legion Post 80, located at 76 Main Street in Binghamton.
Admission to the event is $10 Adults, $5 Kids age 6-12 and FREE Kids 5 and under. It includes a Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner by Cortese Restaurant, live entertainment, door prizes. There will be a bake sale, silent auction, overnight packages at area hotels and B&B's, hand painted lamps, antiques, and many other items, including a 45 inch flat screen television.
Please pass the word and come if you can.  Good luck Shawn.
