When you're at the Binghamton Senators games and walking around the concourse. You might have noticed in the corner by the Zamboni entrance that a girl's hockey team is set up there.

They are the Binghamton Blizzards! Who, you ask? Well I'm glad you did.The Binghamton Blizzards are an all girls youth hockey league here in the area (all girls alternative to the STHA). They have a number of different teams and levels of play ranging from 4 to 19 years.

They have different developmental levels from house level (non travel semi competitive) to a highly competitive travel team. Each year, in order to help keep costs down as much as possible, they do a number of fund raisers.

Last year they started their annual live auction and it was a huge success. Tonight is their 2nd annual auction at Burger Mondays, 23 Henry Street in Binghamton.

The preview starts at 5pm where people can come and register. The auction begins at 6:30pm. Items include a private box for the Binghamton Senators and NY Yankee tickets.

Gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses, sports and show tickets and much more. In all over $7,000 of items will be auctioned off!
