Some very good news from the Town of Maine.  After a 5-year hiatus, the planes will once again fly at the Greater Binghamton Air Show, Friday July 4th and Saturday, July 5th.

Broome County Executive Debbie Preston shared the good news in a press conference and attributed the return to "the generosity of Tioga Downs" for making it happen.  The popular casino is the 2014 Greater Binghamton Air Show, presenting sponsor.  According to WNBF Newsradio 1290, the last air show back in 2009 attracted over 40,000 people.

It will be an exciting July 4th weekend at the Binghamton Airport with seven aerial acts expected to be showcased.

Ticket information will be announced this month.  Keep listening to 98.1 the HAWK for more updates and on line at 981thehawk.com.
