Bikers For Backpacks Motorcycle Rally Returns With The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army does so much for our community and you can help them again this year and have a great time at the same time.
It's the second annual "Bikers For Backpacks" Motorcycle Run & Rally to benefit The Salvation Army of Binghamton Programming on Saturday, August 11th. You can ride one of two routes and it begins with lunch at Southern Tier Harley Davidson.
Kickstands Up at 1 p.m. and it'll end at Touch of Texas on Upper Front Street in Binghamton. After dinner, there will be a concert by the Beatles Tribute band, The Caverners beginning at 5 p.m.
It's only $20 for riders, $10 for passengers and you can even rent a backpack for $5. If you just want to go to the concert and help out the Salvation Army, you can get tickets for only $8.
Can't make it to the event but you want to help or you want to help sponsor the event? You can get a hold of Chet Schultz here and help make a difference in the lives of our kids in our community.
Proceeds from the Biker For Backpacks go to help to send children to The Salvation Armys Long Point Camp free of charge.
