The Binghamton Bearcats have a big weekend ahead in both softball and baseball.  Both teams are in first place in America East.  Softball carries a record of 31-13 overall and 12-3 in conference action. BU hosts Hartford  in a doubleheader on Friday afternoon and a single game on Saturday.  Hartford is 2-12 in America East and 6-41 overall.  The Bearcats are 10-1 in their last 11 games.  Going into the weekend BU has the edge over second place Albany.  The Great Danes are 10-3.  Binghamton Coach Michelle Burrell will preview the weekend tomorrow (Friday) morning at 8:10 with Roger Neel on First News on WNBF.

In baseball Tim Sinicki's team holds the top spot in America East.  In conference play Binghamton is 12-3.  Stony Brook is right behind with a slate of 9-4.  The two collide in a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader at noon on Saturday at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

BU has two more home series coming up before the America East Tournament.  The Bearcats host Albany and Maine in the next two weekends prior to the end of the regular season.
