‘Big Gifted Give’ Event to Help Those in Need in Our Community

It's an evening of family entertainment that helps families in the Southern Tier. It's the 'Big Gifted Give' on Saturday at the Chenango Valley High School Gymnasium from 6-9pm.

Performers from the area will be using their "gifts" to entertain and raise financial support for families and friends in need within our community.

There will be entertainment, raffle baskets and concessions with 100% of all proceeds going back to our community. All of the proceeds will be gifted back to the CV Warrior Fund, Catherine's Cupboard and the CV Food Pantry.

The CV Warrior Fund is a program that provides support to families in the CV community throughout the year. The support is given in the way of food, clothing, emergency needs,etc.

Catherine's Cupboard is located at St. Francis of Assisi. The CV Food Pantry is at the Chenago Valley School.

Tara and her dance class from Dance Connection will be participating in this event. They are performing "Better When I'm Dancing" by Megan Trainor.

Diamond Ming is a local singer from my church. She's won local talent shows and has an audition with "The Voice" later this year. She'll be performing at this event as well. Your chance to see this talented singer before she hits the big time.

I was hoping that they were going to let me sing 'Elvira' but they want people to show up....maybe next year.

Many, many more acts and entertainers will be there including an 80's band. Special thanks go to Ann Szymaniak for putting this event together.

Cost of admission is a money or food donation. Tara and I hope to see you there on Saturday.
