Whatever you do, don't forget Dad this Sunday, Father's Day!  I've got a bunch of ideas that won't break the wallet and should make Father's Day a little easier to plan.

First off, according to a recent survey published in Kiplinger, the number one thing men want for Father's Day is to have peace and quiet and be allowed to do what they want to do for the day.  Second on the list?  Special treatment.  Dads would love to be catered to all day.  Ideally, someone would order pizza for him while he watches TV in his man cave.

With that in mind, there are a couple of other things I should alert you to around the Binghamton area that may appeal to Dad's taste.

Enter to win the Ultimate Father's Day Showcase.  Hey it's free and one lucky Dad in the Southern Tier will win a bunch of awesome gifts.  Click HERE to enter.  Enter before Saturday at 6pm for a chance to win for Dad.

Father's Day Car Show at the Floyd L. Maines Community Center (Conklin Sports Park) features all types of cars, food, live music, lots of vendors and awards for the best cars in a number of categories.  The Community Center is located at 942 Conklin Road in Conklin.

Father's Day Weekend Free Golf at Chuckster's Family Fun Park.  Dads play fro free.  Call (607) 748-PUTT to find out more or www.chucksters-vestal.com

Owego Strawberry Festival is Friday and Saturday with lots of events.  Click HERE to see some of the highlighted events from my earlier blog.

And if Dad is an avid golfer, I always suggest the Clubhouse Card available in the Hawk Seize The Deal Store at 981TheHawk.com.  Dad can enjoy 22 of the area's best courses including Traditions, Conklin, Enjoie, Belden Hill, Apalachin and many more, a $670 value for $199.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads, Grandfathers, Father-In-Laws and Dads to be.  Have a great weekend.  You deserve it!
