Ben & Jerry’s New ‘Ale’ Flavor
Are you like everyone in my family and seek out Binghamton area grocery stores for pints of Ben & Jerry's ice cream on sale? I'm not kidding when I say, they stock up like they will never make ice cream again. Who doesn't love the flavors of Ben & Jerry's and the fact that are one of the few "true pints" of ice cream still made.
But while Ben & Jerry's is famous for their unique flavors, like Chunky Monkey, Phish Food and Cherry Garcia-- don't get me going on those amazing 'core' flavors-- TIME magazine reports that the Vermont company will soon be teaming up with New Belgium Brewing to produce a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale. I don't know about that one but you know all us B&J loyalists will want to try it.
The company is said to use their new product to benefit a cause they care about: $5,000 of the proceeds form their Cookie Dough Ale will go to Protect Our Winters, which advocates climate change action. A good cause indeed. You Go Ben & Jerry.
