The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball is in Maine where they look for their third consecutive win when they meet the Black Bears Saturday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. (1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Bearcats have won back-to-back games against UMass Lowell and UMBC.  Binghamton's America East record is 2-5 and 5-15 overall.

The Black Bears are 3-4 in conference play and 7-13 overall.  In previous meetings between the two teams it is about as even as you can get.  In 30 previous meetings each team has won 15 times.  Over the last three seasons the teams have each won three times.

Binghamton is led by several standouts.  Will Rodriguez is the fourth-leading scorer in America East averaging 14.7 points per game.  Marlon Beck has been on fire.  Beck has hit on 16 of 35 three-point attempts over the last four games and is averaging 10.3 points per game.  Thomas Bruce is averaging 5.7 rebounds per game in league play.

Following Saturday's game the Bearcats travel to Stony Brook to meet the Seawolves Wednesday, February 3.  Binghamton returns home to host New Hampshire Saturday, February 6 at 4:00 p.m.
