Linda Cimino's Binghamton Bearcats toppled the NJIT Highlanders last (Tuesday) night in New Jersey by a final score of 68-44.  The win puts Binghamton's record at 3-5.  NJIT falls to 3-6.  It is Binghamton's second consecutive road win.

Imani Watkins was on fire and finished with 25 points.  Coming into the game she was averaging 22.8 points per game...seventh in the nation among Division I competition. She has now scored 20 or more points in six consecutive contests..a Binghamton University record.

BU scored 18 points off turnovers and led 29-15 at the end of the first half.  Kai Moon was the only other Bearcat in double figures with 10 points.

Binghamton returns to action on Saturday at noon when the Bearcats host Columbia at the Events Center.  The game is being held on a "Pack the House" day where fans can get free admission coupons by visiting area Weis Markets and exchanging them for tickets at the Events Center Box Office.  Following the women's game the BU men host Loyola of Md.  Both games can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF
