Country siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil of The Band Perry sat down with Larry King on his Emmy nominated series “Larry King Now”  to chat about touring overseas for their first headlining tour ‘We Are Pioneers’.

The band also discussed why they still open for acts such as Blake Shelton, the kind of music that'll be on their upcoming 3rd album and why Kimberly Perry can’t sing certain words.

The band, which was recently awarded ACM’s ‘Group of the Year’, is currently in the studio working on their upcoming 3rd album as well as touring with Blake Shelton. “We’ve recorded seven songs at the moment and now we’re taking some time to go on the road, play shows, and write and come up with the best songs we can for the next batch of recording we’re about to do, and it’s really exciting” Neil said. Kimberly also mentioned that they aren’t embarrassed to open up for Blake Shelton, they see it more as an opportunity to continue to grow their fan base.

Kimberly opened up to Larry about why she doesn't like singing certain words-  “I have certain words that I just don’t want to sing. Hurricane, I don’t like singing the word hurricane or butterfly.” Reid quickly reminded her that “Rainbows is another one”. The Band Perry wrapped up their interview with Larry King by answering social media questions from some of their biggest fans including which hair products they use.

In all, a very interesting interview for you to check out HERE.
