This weekend the Binghamton Senators play 2 in a row at home against the St. John Ice Caps (or as they are calling themselves St. John Scott Ice Caps but more on that later).

Friday, the B-Sens are getting together with Reality Check to "Get Smoking Out of Youth Movies." During the game, Reality Check youth will be collecting signatures asking the Motion Picture Association of America to rate youth movies that show smoking as rated "R".

After the game, Reality check will host the smokefree movie 'Goosebumps' on the Jumbotron. There are doing this as part of the larger "International Week of Action for Smokefree Movies."

It's held every year during the same month as the Academy Awards. They want to draw attention to the youth worldwide that are recruited to start smoking due to images of tobacco use in movies.

Reality Check is part of Tobacco Free Broome and Tioga. To find out more about them go here or their Facebook page. The  movie is free with your hockey ticket. You can get a reduced price of $14 by going here. All ages are welcome.

Face-off for the game is at 7:05. I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period.

So why is St. Johns calling themselves the St. John Scott Ice Caps? John Scott was a captain at the recent NHL All-Star game. He was the named the MVP.

However after the game he was sent back down to St Johns. The Ice Caps are taking advantage of the publicity and have changed their name...at least on Twitter.
