The Binghamton Mets battled the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Mother Nature Last (Friday) night and came out with victories.  Playing in temperatures in the mid-30's the B-Mets were able to get their opener in after having Friday night's game postponed due to rain.  The final was 2-1 in favor of Binghamton.

Third baseman Jeff McNeil went 2-4 at the plate and drove in both runs with a home run and double to power the offense.  Robert Gsellman got the start for Binghamton and went into the sixth inning before being lifted on a pitch count limit.Logan Taylor earned the win in relief.

Today's (Saturday's) scheduled 1:05 game has been postponed due to snow.  It will be made-up as part of a doubleheader on July 2.  Tickets for today's game can be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value to a future 2016 regular season game excluding July 3.  Binghamton remains home to host the Fisher Cats Sunday at 1:05....air at 12:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
