The Binghamton Mets are hoping for some help from Mother Nature on Thursday when they are scheduled to host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 6:35 in the season opener.  The infield is in good shape but there is snow cover on much of the outfield.

The NYSEG Stadium turf was all replaced during the off-season and is in good condition.  A mild winter and early spring left the playing surface in good shape. Now, some warmer temperatures and dry conditions are needed.

The forecast from the National Weather Service is calling for a chance of showers and temperatures around 50 degrees on Thursday.  The B-Mets held indoor hitting and pitching drills today (Tuesday).
