Auto Racing/First Responders Night on Thirsty Thursday

The Binghamton Mets return to NYSEG Stadium for 4 in a row against the Portland Sea Puppies (Sea Dogs), Tonight you could say "Let's race to the ballpark."

It's auto racing night so the B-Mets will pay tribute to all things racing. Local drivers and their cars will be on hand around the stadium.

It's also First Responders Night. All police officers, firefighters, volunteer firefighters, EMTs, and all first responders will get 2 free tickets.

98.1 the Hawk is also proud to present another Thirsty Thursday. 2 for 1 pricing on fountain Cokes and select draft beers. 1st pitch is at 6:35.

Don't forget about the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball team as they will be making their third appearance and first since May of 2014 at NYSEG Stadium. They'll be taking on Broome County Law Enforcement on Saturday.

Opening ceremonies begin at 4:30 with first pitch at 5pm. Get your tickets before Saturday and save some money. You know that you're going to the game so get them now and save some moola.

Then stick around for the game between the Binghamton and Portland. The B-Mets will be wearing special Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team themed jerseys. The team will be auctioning them on-line beginning August 1st.
