To loosely paraphrase The Clash, will they stay or will they go now? The rumors said the Senators will go. What do the brass have to say?

This is what B-Sens Executive Vice President of Operations, Tom Mitchell, told the media and the world yesterday at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena,

"The organization is not going anywhere. We have a strategy in place to maintain the strong partnership we have with the American Hockey League."

He also went on to mention that the front office is going through positive changes and that the team has added new staff positions in the front office and that it will be completely renovated in the next couple of weeks.

It's business as usual.

We also hear that discussions are happening with Broome County to extend the lease six years through 2021-2022.

By the way, the season starts at home on October 15th. We know about six guaranteed home games including the 15th. Go here to see the other five dates.

LET'S GO SENS for many years to come.
