Annual Blood Analysis Coming to Endwell Church

Blood tests can run you hundreds of dollars especially without insurance or for blood tests more involved than your coverage can cover without paying much more out of pocket.

Every year AMBA, part of the Quest Diagnostics Wellness Programs, travel to the Greater Binghamton area with a stop a couple of times a year that makes these blood tests more affordable.  AMBA is a traveling company, based out of West Amhurst, New York.  The traveling medical professionals do the blood analysis and share that information with you and your medical doctor.

It was a couple of years ago when my doctor recommended that I get a blood test and a friend of mine recommended this program.  Even with insurance, it may be worth it.   because it can actually cheaper than a co-pay.  For $40.00 (they accept check or money order only), AMBA will do a thorough blood analysis covering coronary and kidney disease, diabetes, anemia, liver disease, and a series of other tests.  I try to do it twice a year to keep my cholesterol and triglyceride numbers in check.  A 13 hour fast is recommended.

The Endwell League of Community Action is sponsoring two days of AMBA blood analysis sessions:  April 16 and 23rd from 6am-10am at the Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Boulevard in Endwell, New York.
