When I'm driving around the Southern Tier, I seem to be seeing more and more American Red Cross Community Blood Drive signs.  I know that the need for blood is always great.

Here's another one going on this Thursday from 1:30 to 6:30pm.  It's a Community Blood Drive at NorthPointe Church, 126 East Service Road (next to My Uncle's Place) in Hillcrest.

New Donors are needed.  I'm going to be one of the new donors and I hope you'll join me.  The last time I gave blood was in 2004.  The reason I remember the year is because I had to give blood after I found out Tara was on the way.  I've been hesitant ever since for no good reason. It's time for me to step up.

You can call 1-800-RedCross to schedule an appointment or just show up. Walk-ins are welcome. Blood donors with type O- ,A- and B- are needed now. To find out more about how you can help go here.

If you have a Community Blood Drive going on, let us know below and we'll let everyone know.
