American Idol Cancelled, Finally

After 15 seasons Fox says it's done after this next season in January. I was done with it after Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken. Huge deal and we heard nothing of either of them. What a farce for ratings. American Idol Ashley is gonna come in here and throw some stuff at me, but I don't care. I tuned in briefly to see my friend Kaitlyn Jackson on the show. Then when she was gone. Channel flip.

It was an amazing cash cow for the network and introduced the viewers to a "music reality" show. Which sadly, is not a reality. While chatting with a singer which will remain unnamed once told me all about he felt when it came to American Idol. He told me he paid his dues. Working small clubs and bars while working the oil fields. Being called in and having to quit playing a show because he had to go be a ruffneck right that moment. Promoters paying him only after he followed them to the ATM... He said these kids just win a game show and they're on the same playing field as I am...  It's B******T!

Don't be sad about losing Idol. You'll find something else. Hopefully way more entertaining
