According to a new report from the United Nations, America has lost its cholesterol-challenged crown as the fattest nation in the world.  Mexico now that that undistinguished honor.

Coming off the AMA's desire to classify obesity as a disease, reports show the more than 70 percent of Mexican adults are overweight, with one-third of teens in that country identified as having weight issues.

Again, diet is the main blame for the elevated numbers.  Carb heavy foods such as tacos, cheap snacks and American fast food restaurants are all part of the serious picture.   The same can be said for America being the #2 obese country.

Moderation, portion control, the addition of more fruits and veggies and exercise will be essential to reduce these numbers.
