Let's face it, not everyone is in to football.  And with the countdown to the big game already going, the non-football fan has more than a few options; you could always read a book, catch a movie on Front Street or on the Vestal Parkway, seek a Red Box or stream.  But my point is, there are other things on TV and some of it is off the cute-o-meter!

So what can you watch on TV if you’re not going to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday? Plenty! Channels are aware that some people want different fare, so special blocks of programming are everywhere from kids channels to news channels.

Here are the most interesting programming choices for your viewing pleasure on Sunday:

1)  The Puppy Bowl XII. There is nothing like watching cute little fluff balls running around a mock football field and playing with toys. You can tune in all day on Animal Planet.

2)  Kitten Bowl. Taking a cue from the success of the Puppy Bowl, the Hallmark Channel is giving this competition a second year.

 3)  The Fish Bowl. Yes, someone has gone this far. For you zen lovers. Nat Geo has got you covered. It is what you think it is.

4)  “Walking Dead” marathon. For those that don’t love baby animals, dead guys will do the trick, right? Thanks AMC!
