On May 19th, 2012, three-year-old Allison Elizabeth Oney of Whitney Point lost her life through domestic violence at the hands of her father.

Since that tragic day, Allie’s mom, family and close friends, have found strength and healing through bringing our community together to support other kids in Allie’s honor.

The mission of Allie’s Angels is to provide materials and equipment to underprivileged kids and in the Southern Tier in order to promote access to educational and recreational opportunities that might otherwise be out of their reach.

Through the generous support of those in our community, Allie’s Angels has raised over $30,000 since they started their mission in 2013. Allie's Angels has been able to do so much for the Southern Tier with the money they've raised, including offering six scholarships to the three-year-old program at the Whitney Point Preschool, providing the Whitney Point Preschool with an integrated PA system, donated playground equipment to the Owego-Apalachin UPK program, organized a school-supply drive and they even adopted four families who'd fallen on hard times over the last two Christmases.

The Third Annual Allie's Angel Ride will take place Sunday, August 2nd from 8am to 1pm at Hickories Park, pavilion 5, in Owego. There will be a ColorFUN 5K Run/Walk, a 75-mile motorcycle ride, and a 20-mile bicycle ride.

The 2015 Allie's Angel Ride will also feature a performance by Jared Campbell, raffles, Phil's Chicken House for lunch, and a bounce house for the kids. Register to participate here.

100% of proceeds go back into our community in support of underprivileged preschool children in memory of Allie.
