Albany Edges BU Women

The Albany Great Danes edged the Binghamton Bearcats in women's soccer 1-0 Thursday night at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The only goal of the game was scored by Vivian Vega in the 22nd minute of the first half.

With the loss the Bearcats drop to 4-8-2 and 0-4 in America East competition.  Albany moves to 5-7 and 2-1 in conference action.  The Great Danes are the defending America East Champions.

Binghamton remains home for more action at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The Bearcats host the Maine Black Bears on Sunday in a 12 noon start.
