Airplane Crashes in Deposit

The pilot of a small airplane that crashed in the Town of Deposit is recovering from only minor injuries.

New York State Police say the plane came down in the area of Roods Creek Road near State Highway 10 shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities say the pilot was the only one in the plane and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
