It’s time to say goodbye to Dr. Cristina Yang.

Actress Sandra Oh has revealed that she’ll be leaving Grey’s Anatomy after the upcoming tenth season, telling the Hollywood Reporter:

Creatively, I really feel like I gave it my all, and I feel ready to let [my character Cristina] go. It’s such an interesting thing to play a character for so long and to actually get the sense that she wants to be let go as well. [Cristina] wants to be let go, and I am ready to let her go.”

Sandra added that she’s “gone through a lot of therapy,” in making her decision, but is confident she’s “ready” to go.

If you still follow the show (I stopped watching after Katherine Heigl left), season ten of Grey’s Anatomy premieres Thursday, September 26th.
