‘Big Bang’ Actress Carol Ann Susi Dies

You may not recognize her name or face but you'll recognize her voice! Especially if you're a fan of 'The Big Bang Theory'. Actress Carol Ann Susi, who was the voice of Howard Wolowitz's mom lost her battle with cancer yesterday at the age of 62.

Carol Ann never appeared on camera on the show but she played Howard's mom for all eight seasons and her voice was heard in almost every episode. The show's executive producer Chuck Lorre says, "The Mrs. Wolowitz character became a bit of mystery throughout the show's eight seasons. What was not a mystery, however, was Carol Ann's immense talent and comedic timing."

Carol Ann also appeared in dozens of TV shows over her career including Who's the Boss, Growing Pains, Murphy Brown, Seinfeld, Married with Children and Grey's Anatomy.
