A Letter To The Hawk From A Soldier

We received this message from Dustin Randall, USAF and I wanted to share it with you. It makes all of us at The Hawk proud to bring a little "at home" to the 39th Security Forces in Turkey.

Hello,
I would first like to start by saying I Love 98.1 The Hawk. I'm currently listening to it now via RadioPup. I'm originally from Cortland and grew up listening to 98.1. Everyone in my family always had this station on in the truck. I'm currently deployed to Turkey with the 39th Security Forces/U.S. Air Force Military Police supporting a NATO mission. I listen to The Hawk every day after a long day of work. I would like to say thank you to all the DJ's, I've heard them all being that I don't work a constant schedule. I'm always switching from days to nights and the weird schedules in between. The Hawk and the DJ's bring a little piece of home over here and it means a lot to me. I've been deployed to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey for 15 months now and I sure am missing family and friends. We always get the thanks and gratitude but I want to take the time and extend it back to you all at 98.1 The Hawk. We need support and morale and 98.1 is my source for inspiration!!
