Back by popular demand is the Duck Derby to benefit the Broome County Humane Society!

It's really is pretty incredible to see thousands of rubber duckies floating down the Susquehanna River, and that's exactly what will happen on Sunday, July 28th as the Broome County Humane Society will host its ninth annual Duck Derby. The Duck Derby will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. right behind the Holiday Inn in downtown Binghamton.

The Duck Derby will kick off with fun kicks off with music, food, crafts, games, and vendors and then watch as 10,000 rubber ducks are be dropped off the Court Street Bridge. The ducks will race down the Susquehanna River, competing for cash prizes. First place will win $5,000, second place will take $1,300, and third place will win $700.

If you're looking for a new furry family member, the Humane Society's adoptable animals will also make an appearance at the Duck Derby.
