5K Humane Society Wag Walk & Run at Otsiningo Park

I have the perfect way for you to spend more time with your dog next week and get some good exercise at the same time.  The Humane Society recently announced it's annual 5K Wag, Walk & Run.  This event is a 5K Run/Walk to benefit The Humane Society.  Wag, Walk & Run will be held Saturday, June 7, at Otsiningo Park.  The run will begin at 9:00 AM with the walk starting shortly after.  Registration opens at 8:00 AM.

All walkers are invited to bring along your furry friends to help you support the home-less animals at The Humane Society.  Dogs can be registered to walk for no extra fee.  Due to safety reasons, dogs are not allowed to enter into the run portion of the race.  In order to have your pet participate in this event, please bring proof of rabies to the event or submit a copy with pre-registration.  All pre-registered dogs will receive a “doggy bag” at the race.

Pre-registration forms are available on the Humane Society web site or at the shelter on 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton.

Invite your friends for a great day at one of Binghamton's most beautiful parks and meet some of The Humane Society’s adoptable animals.  It will be a fun day for all!
