How do you know that Spring is on it's way? Is it setting the clock ahead an hour before you go to bed? Perhaps it's the warmer temperatures. For many, it's when the local racing schedules are released. I guess Spring is on its way.

Five Mile Point Speedway has released it's schedule and it gets underway with "March Madness" on Saturday, March 25th.

Many of the things that we like are still in place. Kids 12 years and younger get in free at every race event. The "Family Five Pack" stays at $30 with 2 adult, 3 youth/senior with 5 hot dogs and 5 sodas.

There will be seven Community Nights. It's free admission on set nights for entire area townships. Residence of those towns simply need to show photo ID at the box office on those race nights.

The “Pack the Track Night” event will be back on Saturday, June 3rd with grandstand admission only 67 cents. Why? Because it's the 67th consecutive year of racing at "The Point."

Modified action gets underway on Sunday, April 9th with race number one of the four race Sunday Summer Slam Series. That weekend date traditionally serves as a big Modified race at FMP and this year will be no different.

Check out the complete schedule and remember, it's not racing till there is dirt in your beer.
