Don't get me wrong, I love people. But what happens to good people that get crazy when there is any kind of holiday other than (maybe) Groundhog's Day going on?

You would think that when you invite someone over to the Thanksgiving table, that they would be appreciative and "thankful."  But instead they turn in to a bunch of crazies.

There are 'The Whiners' who find something wrong with everything.  They will sit there any spew off about politicians, the school system, TV shows they loath, and every restaurant they have visited in the last 10 years.

Then there's 'The Allergics' that can't eat nuts, eggs, milk, meat or gluten.  Then they have the nerve to ask how you filter the water they are drinking.

'The Dieters' are the people that look at your food and tell you they either can't eat it or they act like they feel bad and tell you how much of it they can consume.

'The Fighters' look to start an argument at any second.  They are mad and they want you to know about it.

And finally, 'The Boozers.'  Do you ever notice there is a big difference between wine and beer drinkers.  Add Scotch or whiskey to the mix and you create another hell for your dinner table.

Ahhhh Thanksgiving.  You have to love it.  No matter who shows up at my table this year, Thanksgiving is still my favorite holiday and I have a lot to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving my friend.
