Kane Brown has been an internet sensation for some time now. In the short time he has been with RCA Nashville, a number of cool things have happened to this country music newcomer.

With his career in the early stages, he has accomplished quite a bit in a short period of time.  Here are some of the recent highlights:

  1. His first independently released album 'Closer' last June debuted at #22 on the country album chart, selling 3,200 copies the first week.  This was an incredible and almost unheard feat that really got the attention of Nashville.
  2. Kane's first major label album, 'Chapter 1' in March of this year, includes his first hit 'Used To Love You Sober' debuted at #3 and sold 30,000 albums in the first week.  What a difference 9 months makes.
  3.  Kane Brown has won the admiration of many of Nashville's biggest songwriters including Chris Young, who co-wrote some songs with Kane for his 'Chapter 1' album.
  4.  Kane is set to go on a summer tour with Florida Georgia Line on their 'Dig Your   Roots' Tour.
  5. TasteofCountry.com reports that Sam Hunt covered his new song 'Used To Love You Sober' during his set at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale over the weekend. While it's not unusual for Sam to cover other people's songs, it took Kane by complete surprise and he considers it the ultimate compliment.

You can see Kane in Binghamton on April 29th when he plays Magic City Music Hall.
