A $25,000 Tip Transforms a Waiter’s Life

Brian Maixner is a waiter at the Doo-Dah Diner in Wichita, Kansas. The customers love him because he's hilariously funny, but he's always been afraid to smile because of his teeth. Apparently Brian cracked one of his front teeth a few years ago, and didn't have the cash fix it. It actually looks as if he couldn't afford to get those chompers cleaned either, because his grill is some serious disarray.

Last month, he waited on a lawyer from Oklahoma named Fred Boettcher, who was so impressed with him, he didn't just leave a good tip, he offered to have his teeth fixed and offered to foot the whole bill. So Brian went to Fred's dentist multiple times over the past few weeks, and now his smile is perfection.

All that work should have cost about $25,000.00.
