A brand new month and while Halloween is quickly approaching, It's hard to believe that Christmas is about 80 days away.  I have people in my family that finished their shopping last month and they love to tell me about it.  I'm with you.  I don't even want to think about it.

Whether or not you are in that spirit or not, the 20th Annual Artists' Open House Weekend this Columbus Day weekend is a great place to start or just check out because.  It takes place October 8, 9 and 10th in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, daily from 10 a.m to 6 p.m.

This year, 28 artists at 22 locations will be showing off their work in even medium under the sun.  It's a free self-guided tour where you start at any studio and with the help of a map, available throughout the tour or on their wonderful web site, ArtistsTour.com, you simply visit the artists who may interest you. This is a great chance to observe art being created and chat with your local artists & crafts-people.
