With a red Solo cup in his hand and his win for New Artist of the Year still fresh in his mind, Luke Combs got up on stage at the 52nd CMA Awards to perform his hit song "She Got the Best of Me." He reminded us all why he and that song are so irresistible.

Donning an all black and casual ensemble at the annual awards show taking place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, Combs did what he does best by just getting up there and being himself.

"She Got the Best of Me"  is Comb's fourth consecutive No. 1 single, which is downright historic. Combs is the first solo artist to score four consecutive number ones on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for his songs  “Hurricane,”  “When It Rains It Pours” and “One Number Away,”  as well as his latest. All of these songs appear on the deluxe version of his current album This One’s for You.

Combs was also nominated for Male Vocalist and New Artist of the Year. He lost Male Vocalist to Chris Stapleton, but he took home New Artist of the Year at the 2018 CMA Awards.

2019 could be a career-altering year for Combs. He is set to embark on his North American headlining Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour. Tour dates are already selling out in states including North Carolina, South Carolina, New York and Ohio.
