With Halloween an almost-distant memory, it's officially time to kick off of the holiday season. And what better to commemorate than lighting the nation's most famous Christmas tree at New York City's Rockefeller Center? Even better, country stars will help do the honors in 2016.

NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center airs this November, featuring musical guests and the lighting of the tree. Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will all be present to perform during the Christmas spectacular. Hosted by Today anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Hoda Kotb, Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, Josh Groban, Tori Kelly and Sarah McLachlan will also perform.

The 84th annual tree lighting will feature a 94-foot tall, 56-foot wide Norway spruce from Oneonta, N.Y. It is approximately 90 years old, weighs approximately 14 tons and will be decorated with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights.

Christmas in Rockefeller Center will broadcast Nov. 30 at 8PM ET on NBC.
