2014: The Year in Television

We said goodbye and hello to a bunch of people and shows in 2014. Here are some of the the highlights:

• On January 6th, Sasheer Zamata joined the cast of Saturday Night Live, making her the show's first black female cast member in six years.

• The View saw major changes after Barbara Walters left the show on May 16th. In June Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy announced they wouldn't be returning the next season. In September the new panel was introduced with Rosie O'Donnell, Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace joining Whoopi Goldberg.

• On August 27th, Diane Sawyer anchored her last edition of ABC World News.
